SPRING SHIPPING SCHEDULE

How will order come?

We usually send parcels by EXPEDITED PARCEL POST, but for an additional $15 Canada Post EXPRESS delivery is available. If you use a box number, it helps to give us a street address as well. We ship plant material safely all over Canada. If the order includes perennial plants, they’ll arrive in the same pot where they have been growing strong roots for several months (Agapanthus, Clivia and Roses are shipped bare root). Each plant will have been carefully inspected, trimmed, and watered. The pot is placed in a poly bag to retain moisture and keep the soil where it belongs. Then the pot is secured in one of our specially designed plant boxes and sent on its way.

Guarantee
We guarantee all the material offered to be true to name and to be in good condition when delivered. Gardenimport does not accept responsibility for the performance of its plant material in circumstances beyond its control such as plantings in areas outside the listed climate zone, adverse weather or soil conditions, winter, and absence of adequate cultivation and care on the part of the gardener.

Cancellations
The stock is reserved and held for you exclusively until it is ready for shipment. This makes it unavailable for sale to any other customer. Due to the short season, there is a 25% cancellation charge.

Shipping Charges
The minimum shopping cart shipping is $9.95. Orders under $100 in merchandise pay 18%. Orders over $100 in merchandise pay 15%. Orders of $500 or more pay only $60.

New - reduced Seed shipping charge for SEED ONLY orders*
Orders up to $15 pay only $2.95. Orders between $15.01 and $40 pay $5.95. Orders over $40 pay $7.95.

Using Your Gift Certificates Online
Just send us an email with your certificate # and the $ amount. We'll apply your credit and confirm your new total.

When can I expect it?
To some extent that depends on how soon we get your order. In order to be fair, we work on a “first in - first out” basis. Early orders have the best chance of getting exactly what is wanted, and getting it sooner. Items vulnerable to the extremes of heat or frost-risk in transit, are shipped as the weather permits.

AMERICAN CUSTOMERS please note:
American orders pay 35% of merchandise value for shipping & handling, with a MINIMUM HANDLING of $30. Gardenimport prepares export documents, the phytosanitary inspection required by The U.S. Department of Agriculture and handles U.S. Customs clearance. For this we charge an additional $50.00. Your order will be charged in CDN dollars. Your order will be shipped via PRIORITY POST.

To our great regret, due to recent changes in U.S. department of Agriculture regulations, we can no longer ship potted plants to our American customers.
