(Dendranthema, Hardy Chrysanthemum) The Autumn Crescendo series are the handiwork of Rika Bronsther of Hempstead, Long Island, who loves colourful late summer perennials but saw room for improvement in these tough, long-lived plants. They are a BIG improvement on older varieties with bigger, more abundant flowers in new colours, and increased hardiness. Aromatic foliage and great vase life make these a "must have" for any gardeners with sun and average soil, who would like a colourful extension to their flower season. Hardy to zone 5.
