GEORGE BAKER

SCARCE & RARE, & UTTERLY FABULOUS!
It will appear like magic in late spring, its feathery foliage almost overwhelmed by the glowing, deep salmon/pink flowers. Not surprisingly, it won the much coveted Award of Garden Merit the first time it appeared at Chelsea. We’ve tried to get it for years, but it has rarely ever been available since.

Very reliable, easy-to-grow, perennial tubers producing dense clusters of uniquely spurred blooms against deep-green, fern-like foliage. After an impressive, early spring display it usually takes the summer off. Not to worry, it will re-appear next spring! It’s hardy to zone 4, just give it a shady spot in moist, leafy soil.

Top size 6+cm bulbs.
